One Healing Arc, Released on the Moon

Somewhere in the middle of building this catalog, a pattern showed itself that I hadn’t put there on purpose. The older songs were wordless — beats and layered music, emotion held when words weren’t safe yet. The newer ones found language — the voice returning, a story to tell. Listened to in order, the whole body of work moves the way the old Hawaiian chant Kumulipo moves: out of Pō, the generative dark, into Ao, the light. The night that holds you, and the dawn where you speak again.

So the music isn’t a pile of singles. It’s one healing arc — and once you see that, you can release it like one.

The frequency under every song

Every song sits in a musical key, and every key answers to one of the body’s energy centers and a healing tone — root to crown, 396 hertz up to 963. Sequence an album from the ground up and a single listen becomes a rising: grounding, then flow, then will, then — at the center — the heart, 639 hertz, which for us is christ-aloha, love put into action. It keeps climbing to the crown, 963, the Holy Spirit, ke Akua, where the album completes. A record you can put on not just to hear, but to be balanced by.

Why the moon

We map the releases to the kaulana mahina, the Hawaiian moon calendar — the real one, exact moon phases married to the traditional months, Welehu through ʻIkuwā. The plan is simple and old: one album every full moon, for thirteen moons, in gratitude for the life and the breath we were given. One of those moons is Makaliʻi — when the Pleiades rise and Makahiki opens, the season of peace — and it falls on Christmas Eve. The album that carries the heart is the one that lands there. We didn’t arrange that. The sky did.
